Gas pressure regulator type 143-80

The Sensus type 143-80 gas pressure regulator is a spring-loaded regulator. The regulator is normally closed. The regulator is ideal for (industrial) applications with smaller capacities. This type of regulator is available with and without a safety Relief. The flanged version DN25 PN16 is also available with a safety shut-off against overpressure and under pressure.

Types

143-80-1 and 143-80-1 HP Regulator without a safety Relief.

143-80-2 and 143-80-2 HP Regulator with a safety Relief.

Maximum operating pressure

The maximum inlet pressure = 8.6 barg.

Operating temperature

-28.9 – +65.5° C (-20° F +150° F).

Spring range

143 regulator spring range outlet pressure = 8 – 140 mbarg.

143-HP regulator spring range outlet pressure = 34 – 420 mbarg.

IP-RL spring range safety shut-off  = 30 – 750 mbarg.

IP-HR spring range safety shut-off = 0.42 – 4.22 barg.

Connection sizes

3/4 “and 1” NPT screwed.

DN25 PN16 flanged.

Applicable gases

Natural gas, propane, butane, air and nitrogen. Special designs are available for special (corrosive) gases.
