Safety shut-off

Safety shut-off (cut-off) has been developed to take on an important task in pipeline networks in measuring and in regulating stations. A safety shut-off valve ensures that when the outlet pressure rise too high the supply from the station is shut off. This prevents the gas pipeline network from being exposed to excessively high pressure. A safety shut-off can protect a pipeline network against too high and too low a pressure.

Safety shut-off type IPS-L and IPS-H

These are robust safety shut-off valves for inlet pressures up to 16 barg. These shut-off units are available in versions for under pressure protection (DPS) and as overpressure protection (IPS). The shut-off units are available with connection sizes 1 “NPT threaded and DN50 PN16 and DN80 PN16 as well as 2” ANSI150lbs and 3 “ANSI150lbs flanged.

Safety shut-off versions IP-LR and IP-HR

The safety shut-off devices IP-LR and IP-HR are designed to be used as an attached safety shut-off unit applicable for a 143-80, 243, 040 and a 046. As a separate safety shut-off it can also be used with a connection box DN25 PN16. This safety shut-off unit is available as an overpressure safety protection (IP-LR and IP-HR) and as an under-pressure safety protection (IDP-LR and IDP-HR). The spring range is from 30 mbarg to 4.42 barg.

Safety shut-off type OPSO-Pneumax

An OPSO-Pneumax is a safety shut-off unit that is used in combination with a ball valve fitted with an actuator. Often as a second safety in an installation. This combination is also called a safety valve. The safety shut-off is available in a low pressure (LP) and a high pressure (HP) version. The spring ranges from 18 mbarg up to 8,5 barg.

Safety shut-off unit type S100

The Elster safety shut-off type S100 is a robust safety shut-off that operates very accurately. This type is only suitable as a safety against overpressure. The safety shut-off can be mounted in all directions. The operation of the safety can be reversed which is useful in double-line installations. The maximum working pressure is 19 barg. The spring range is from 18 to 6.0 barg. The safety shut-off has a position indication but can also be carried out with a remote signalling. Connection sizes DN50 PN16, DN80 PN16 and DN100 PN16. 2″ ANSI150lbs, 3″ ANSI150lbs and 4″ ANSI150lbs

Safety shut-off type S200

The Elster safety shut-off type S200 is a robust safety shut-off that operates very accurately. This type is suitable as a safety against overpressure and / or under pressure. The safety shut-off can be mounted in all directions. The operation of the safety can be reversed which is useful in double-line installations. The maximum working pressure is 19 barg. The spring ranges from OPSO 25 mbarg to 8.0 barg and UPSO from 5 mbarg to 2.5 barg. The safety shut-off has a position indication but can also be carried out with a remote signalling. Connection sizes DN50 PN16, DN80 PN16 and DN100 PN16. 2″ ANSI150lbs, 3″ ANSI150lbs and 4″ ANSI150lbs.

Safety shut-off unit type S300

The safety shut-off unit type S300 is a small safety device that is only available in a 3/4″ and in a 1″ screwed connection. This type is suitable as a safety against overpressure and/or under pressure. The safety shut-off can be mounted in all directions. The maximum working pressure is 20 barg. The spring ranges from OPSO 18 mbarg up to 4.0 barg and UPSO 18 mbarg up to 500 mbarg.

Safety shut-off type 1800B

The Elster safety shut-off type 1800B intended for the medium pressure segment. This type is fitted as standard with the gas pressure regulator type 1800B2. The safety shut-off unit is only available as an overpressure safety shut-off.(OPSO). This type can also be used as a separate safety. The spring range is from 35 to 210 mbarg. The units can be mounted on connection housings screwed 3/4″ or 1″ BSP-Tr and flanged DN25 PN10 / PN16.

Safety shut-off unit type USSA

The Elster safety shut-off unit type Elster is suitable for the medium pressure segment. The safety shut-off devices can be equipped with an under pressure (UPSS), an overpressure (OPSS) or a combination of over- and under pressure (OUPSS). This is a safety that is mounted to a gas pressure regulator type J125. The units can be mounted on connection housings screwed 3/4″ or 1″ BSP-Tr and flanged DN25 PN10 / PN16.

Safety shut-off unit type J120

The Elster safety shut-off type J120 is a gas shortage safety device. This type of safety shut off protects the integrity of (burner) installations. It shuts off the supply when the pressure flow becomes too low. The gas flow can only be unlocked again via manual handling. Connection sizes up to 2″. Maximum inlet pressure is 350 mbarg. shut-off value = 10 or 15 mbarg.
